2010 Recap: Pt. 2

After Pt. 1 comes this...

My mom, Rachel & I left my favorite place on earth to come back home to reality.

I went to The Living Desert in Palm desert with my mom, Dick & my cousin Jason, who is a photographer.

We got to see a butterfly emerge from it's pupa.

I went with my mom to my favorite beach & explored their new visitors center.

I found a dog at work, Dick kept him & named him Hunter.

I got a Canon G11.

We went to Venice with Dane, Liz & Ryan to explore & met the Predator.

I went to Los Angeles yet again to meet up with Vivs & I also got to meet another great blog friend, Diana! 

My twin cousin James & I turned 25 & celebrated at Balboa beach.

I went to the Santa Rosa Plateau with Dick to watch Ryan take photos of Alex & have some fun.  We found a LOT of tarantulas that day.

I chopped my mop!

I was a flapper for Halloween & Mahlon was a Maori dude. (With an Irish shirt on?)

Roxy came home from Missouri & I took her on a picnic at the beach to celebrate.

I got my favorite necklace from a blog friend Danielle, the owner of Dinosaur Toes jewelry.

My nephew Ryan entertained me at Thanksgiving.

I went with Dick, Roxy, Dane & Ryan downtown to the Festival of Lights.

We celebrated Christmas & the end of 2010.

& that there folks is the end of my 2010.  I suppose the only fun thing that'll happen after now will be celebrating the new year, but that doesn't really count, does it?  Anyways, I hope you all had fantastic Tiger years!  Let's bring on the Rabbit!

i make dresses out of recycled fabric (and sell vintage) because there are sooo many ugly dresses made of great fabric (hello 80s sillouhettes?) and i can't stand to see anything go to waste! (nearly my entire house is furnished out of things that were found in people's trash piles!) i don't believe in charging a lot of money for these clothes because my end goal is not to to make a profit, but instead to save (even if it's a tiny bit of) gorgeous fabric :)

Christmas Day: 2010

Here you can see me, CaL, running around on Christmas day, getting in my families face & making them say "Hi" - it's what I do.  This is also proof, for those of you who asked, that I have a high, or you may say, annoying, voice.  Ew.  Ha!



Near the end you will see my brother talking to his son & me asking for a response from my cousin, James. What my brother, Mahlon was saying was "Ryan, when you're older & bigger, make sure to beat up James for me, okay?" Also, I try to lick my elbow because James asks me to. I also say, "they're TOMS" because James called them my ninja shoes. Enjoy.

2010 Recap: Pt. 1

A look back on a very good year.

My nephew Ryan turned a year old.

We celebrated.

My friends Dane & Liz got married.

We dressed up.

I got to explore Los Angeles with Eileen & see Jeremy Larson at the Hotel Cafe.

We went to a pow wow with Dane & Liz & ate Indian tacos.

My aunt Diane passed away.  But that brought family together from far away places.  I got to see my Dina.

I got to see my lovely cousin Amanda.

I got to goof around with my twin, James.

We went with our friends Jahzeel, Andrew & James to Los Vegas to explore & meet up with friends from afar.

We went on vacation to Yosemite with my parents.

I went to a different part of Los Angeles with Rachel to see the tar pits, LACMA & we got to see the bench from (500) Days of Summer at Angeles Knoll.  

I also got to visit San Francisco & meet some lovely blog friends, Vivs & Lehua.

I got to stay at my favorite place on earth & hang out on the beach with my mom & my lovely friend Rachel.

This would be a good stopping point for Pt. 1.  I'll post Pt. 2 later on this week for the second half of my 2010 & a bit of a summary.
