TWENTY-THIRTEEN:

The new year is now well upon us.  I'm sick as a dog, dreaming of sunny days & ogling inspiring images to keep me going.  Fuel for me is inspiration right now.  If you want to see a ridiculously rad adventure, head over to MuchoMuchoBuenoBueno & check out all the awesome that's been happening in their lives this winter.  (Totally not winter-esq, & I love it!)

We've been doing a lot of this lately ... cuddling the furbabies & each other while watching Food Network.  We finally have a decent TV & cable, so my sick nights have been completely useless.

Whenever we do have the energy to have people over, I end up making some form of what we now call "Cal-pie" ... which is simply a very fancy 7(million) layer dip.  Both people & dogs love it equally...

Getting mail at my new address has been a really fun part of this move.  I have no idea why, but it's just refreshing to get mail at my own house.

One of the parties we had was dedicated to mister Huell Howser.  A true piece of California's Gold.  A friend of ours made these Saint Huell candles to represent the great man that he was.  His enthusiasm for life is something to strive for.

So with all of this inspiration from Huell, from the Bueno girls, from my cousin in Hawaii - I've decided to dedicate 2013 to moving on.  In 2012 I aimed for stability.  My goals were to get back in school, to move into my own place, & to become grounded.  2013 will be taking it to the next level.  Every chance I get, life should be an adventure.  Every weekend I want to break out of the house & do something fun.  Every month I want to try something new.  I'll refine my goals more as I see what this is all about... but for now, know this:

“Life is either a great adventure or nothing.”  Helen Keller
