This past Saturday I had the opportunity to go with Jonathan & some friends to a local food truck & craft beer festival.  Craft beer is big here in Redlands; we (well, Jonathan) even brews his own at home every so often.  Food trucks, on the other hand, are a rarity - what with them being illegal in both Riverside & San Bernardino Counties for some reason.  This makes going to an event like this a bit more special for us, having food trucks be a rare occasion instead of a common happening.  (Honestly, I'd rather have them around all the time for us to feast off of on the regular.)

After a long day of drinking tiny beers with the alcohol content of a fine wine, we were ready to go home & relax with the fur babies.  

Living with Jonathan has been such a life changing experience for me.  The peace, calm, & contentment that comes with living with someone you love is such an amazing feeling.  I never would have thought that I could get along with someone so well on a daily basis.  

It's crazy to think about how different life was only a year ago.  Things were hard then; I was lonely, lost, struggling with a sense of self, not blogging because of all of this, not happy with work ... all around not happy.  Blogging for me is supposed to be real, but at the same time I try to share with you the best parts of life.  Although I do want to be honest with all of you, I don't want to be a sad blogger, which is why I took a mini hiatus these past few months.  

I feel bad for leaving so suddenly without much explanation to you on here, but the past is done & it's good to be back.  I hope you all join me in this blogging adventure once again.  I've missed you all so!
